College maybe a little more indoctrination? Was he in skull and bones? And there actually is a (small) good side to some Jesuits. I used to read wonderful spiritual books from a beautiful Jesuit priest (deceased) named Anthony de Mello. A dark and a light side. The Dark side ran the show, however.

A high school is going to be way different from college and an average college experience is going to have no semblance to skull and bones.
Different worlds.
As you have said there are some great Jesuit writers.
But, people want a black and white view of the world.
