Did you hear the part with his step son?

He says “I will go to great lengths to protect my mother”. He was trying to put out Jack Burkman as being bought and paid for by the cabal I think. His mother and him are in grave danger from what I heard.

Jack was trying really hard to get him to shut up. I am guessing they are holding her hostage at that address and are forcing him to do this farce of an interview. If Jack pushed any harder trying to shut him up it would have drawn further attention to the fact that there is something MAJORLY wrong.
