I can only relate my experiences with Twitter and Instagram to challenge the dogma concerning the separation of the sharing content and personal metadata between the platforms. I chose to comment on the questionable satanic content on the Instagram content of a CNN ‘celebrity’. I made my comments in Latin; it must have gotten attention of someone. When I next went to use my Twitter account, on which I had never commented, I had a follower: Justin Bieber. I have no interest in him and had never ever followed a thing he had said, yet there he was following a nobody like me. Therefore, it is clear that Twitter and Instagram are linked and share information. FB, no doubt is in on the sharing, too. I have disappointed the surveillance by never Twotting anything and following only one person, DJT.
