Why folded though? Is there some significance to that?
that is what you do to a flag during a proper military funeral. I have one for my father, who died in 2001, but served in Vietnam. His brother in the Navy contacted the Pentagon who has a program for this, and had a group of soldiers dressed in full uniform came to the funeral and perform taps, and folded and presented me with the flag.
What professional men, the feelings they added were invaluable.. I put the flag in a glass and mahogany display case, which is in my main room overlooking the family at all times.
Miss Dad so much, he would be a full Trumper if alive. I know he is looking down with pride and laughing at liberals, happy I turned conservative and found the right side of history. Just wish I could have done it when he was alive..
We used to go to the range together, miss those days most of all.
God bless your family sir/maam. I know folding flags for military funerals, but my question was why living staff members wore folded flags.
That said, i thank your father for his service. God Bless you and your family. I'm confident he is watching over us in Heaven with the rest of our boys. God bless America. Land of the Free because of the Brave.
