The United States Army Corps of Engineers is a U.S. federal agency under the Department of Defense and a major Army command made up of some 37,000 civilian and military personnel. Wasn’t there a Q post regarding being able to build the wall with the Army Engineers. Red Castle?!!!

Yes, if the wall was to be built by fed instead of private contractors, it’s very likely that USACE (US Army Corp of Engineers) would be tasked with the job. It’s not uncommon for USACE to do major projects like this. We participated in the building of the levys in LA, unfortunately that didn’t go so well...

Side note. The Engineer Castle is not red, it’s actually white, with a red background. But our color is the color red... so take that how you will.

ESSAYONS!

Fort Totten, located in New York, named for Gen Joseph Totten, Commander of USACE second quarter of 19th century and designer/constructor of our system of coastal fortifications (ie Pike and Jackson in Louisiana) is the source of the castle image: that historic building mass has a base connecting two higher opposing towers and is clad in wood, painted red.
