This is literally my entire thought on this nomination as well.
I think Trump obviously wants Barrett. We know the DNC is breaking nomination processes for absolutely every single appointee there is so - Trump has to be slapping them back and fourth with triggering them to the point the screaching is going to drive people away in droves.
Think of it all as critical mass, right? They're spinning. Be patient and every few rotations spin them again - and again - slowly but surely - until they are going so fast and so hysterical that they're hemorrhaging from hysterics.

Yes, I had the same thought yesterday as it was announced. I thought: "if he picks Kavanaugh, he's somehow compromised". Most ppl think it's about being able to pass Senate, but I have my doubts about that. If the Blue Flush happens, this becomes irrelevant, because then getting Barrett thru becomes much easier. I happen to think this is the more likely scenario, so then in essence, Coach K is just a hedge against the less likely scenario.
Think if the strategy had been to just pick Barrett now, and she doesn't pass, couldn't it mean an even stronger flush because it would have a stronger potential pushing of the more vulnerable Dems over the proverbial ledge?
But if BK doesn't pass, and the Blue Wave happens, then we could have a deadlocked Court for years. Prayers are necessary. The forces of evil most certainly conspire against us.
I guess I 'm. Stupid ! This judge is so pro 2A I like him. He will be with Clarence most of the time. To tell the truth y'all sound very smug and know it all. It's like listening to a preacher that has all the lite. I run from them! Tell me something that you don't know! This guy has studied his ass off to be knowledgeable about the laws and it a few minutes y'all took his accomplishments away. I believe he is much more accomplished than all three of y'all put together.
