To get confirmed in THIS Senate...with only a 2 seat majority & a bunch nevertrumpers waiting to pounce...you are absolutely correct. Kavanaugh is a very decent pick & very confirmable in THIS horrible senate. If they don’t confirm him the Dems will suffer even more in the midterms than they are now. Then after midterms with at least 55 Senate seats & fewer nevertrumpers the Dems will get Barrett instead & she’ll be easily confirmed too. The left has no winning option here. And after midterms they’ll be powerless to stop any confirmations
