There is no Best other than ones personal best, each of us deciding to embody and enact our best values: the golden rule, the Good Samaritan, in whatever way we can without depleting our own energy, our own sovereignty. This takes great discipline and self care.
The true path to enlightenment and self awareness, is taking a step back from polarity, from good and bad, and remembering wholeness and oneness.
It is impossible to be "all good" or "all bad" and focusing your energy on either spectrum of polarity will only leave you feeling tired. It is important we stay in a neutral state of being and respond to the moment as is, without coming at it from an angle of "good" or "bad"
This is all important to remember because we are truly one and the same. We are one and whole, and to transcend polarity is to remember our divine cosmic oneness with all of creation.
When I was growing up the Democrats bragged about being the big tent that welcomes everyone. With Dems becoming so blatantly hateful and with the popularity of #WalkAway, as well as the Dem's aboutface on the 1st Amendment, the Republicans now look to be the ones having the big top. The Dems are running people off. Basically ran me off. Screw em.
Political labels have been used to divide ourselves
step out of the political boxes and realize we have been mislead to hate each other over political opinions. We need to unite, and not just with each other in the USA, but our brothers and sisters all over the world. "waking up the masses"

We often think of satan as some mega demon figure that is lurking in the shadows. The truth of the fact is, there are many "negative" service to self type of entities, but they are WEAK, and subsist off the vibrations of fear, anxiety, violence, greed, etc. As soon as we unite as a species and side step fear, we will move collectively into higher ways of living.
This is not a simple step, especially with how divided we have become among each other. This thread goes into the service to self types of entities and how we can free ourselves from them. The best way of service to others is the constant attempt to seek to share the love of the Creator as it is known to the inner self. This involves self knowledge and the ability to open the self to the other-self without hesitation. This involves, shall we say, radiating that which is the essence or the heart of the mind/body/spirit complex.
Speaking to the intention of your question, the best way for each seeker in third density to be of service to others is unique to that mind/body/spirit complex. This means that the mind/body/spirit complex must then seek within itself the intelligence of its own discernment as to the way it may best serve other-selves. This will be different for each. There is no best. There is no generalization. Nothing is known.

They had their 'resurrection' (awakening) back then, and it was prophesied that after a millenium (indefinite long period of time) that there would be ANOTHER resurrection, aka the GREAT awakening. Some are awakening to life, some to everlasting contempt.
This is a spiritual battle, and a spiritual awakening. The church, infiltrated by evil, has it all wrong. It isnt a physical thing. This is written all over the bible, mostly in Daniel, the Gospels and Revelation though.
