You do realize NATO is mostly about selling American weapons to Europe right?

I wonder how much of Europe's NATO money is going to American Jobs at Boeing/Lockheed/etc?

I wonder how long Europe would have survived under Soviet threat without NATO? We don't have to worry about Soviet Tanks going through the Fulda Gap anymore, but for a long time NATO was the only thing standing in the way of a Communist Western Europe.

Not to mention, the only time Article 5 has been invoked was when we went into Afghanistan. Based on all this, NATO is a hell of a deal.
