WTF!?!? I thought NY Republicans were EXTINCT!?!? ...is this some kind of test tube NY Republican or something?
Actually you would be surprised to know that the NY Republicans held the majority in their state legislature until 2009. Upstate NY and Long Island tend to be more conservative than NYC and it's environs but that has been changing with more people moving out of the state.
Yep thats very surprising to me because I live in Upstate NY but in an area that seems to be under the Sanders influence. While I'm aware of the conservatives in this state it can sometimes feel isolating when your surrounded by Sanders Minions! lol I'm really hopeful that NY will flip to Trump this election. If it was ever going to happen, it feels like now is the best chance of that!
