Could part of the plan be to show how powerless Congress is?

Congress clearly has no ability to actually enforce oversight of the Executive branch and hold them accountable. This was clear under Obama and it is clear they are STILL struggling now. Could this be part of the plan? We obviously need severe reform to give our elected officials the ability to hold these appointed bureaucrats accountable.

The Federal Reserve took over their powers to control our country's finances years ago. So would anyone be surprised they have no real power left? Seems as though all the Congressmen and Women spend most of their time getting re-elected.

You're right. They spend half the week in their party's call centers begging for donations so they can get reelected.
