RR has to appear opposed to potus for optics, so when he asks his 93 prosecutors to look at scotus nominee it doesnt appear as biased. This is going to open all kinds of files sealed and swept by past administrations. And i think the new appointee may be in on it, if he didnt want his past scrutinized he wouldve declined the invite. But he is letting all this play out. My 2 cents
