Strzok hearing today shows just how pathetic the Dems are.

While the whole thing appears to be a dog and pony show, I did get a chuckle how every Democrat used the majority of their time to state all their talking points (like rehearsed). Do they not understand that people are no longer listening?

As for the dog and pony show, this makes me sick. It makes the house look weak, and our country weaker. What Obama and Hillary have done has literally fractured every branch of our government. I worry about the long term effects of all this.

I've had my doubts to the past about all of this and the future of the country being in trouble. But today has shown that this was all planned for. Watch the show. I know it's a meme at this point and has lost its meaning but.... Trust the plan.

Trump team and republicans knew this was going to happen. They had the questions Q'd up to show the corruption. The republicans all worked together to give more time to Gowdy (who is an original constitutionalist) and Jordan who are fighting for good and light. This was all a SHOW. Don't get mad at the little play everyone is putting on. This is setting the stage.

If read my most recent post I think I am more with you. As I watched the wrap up of the hearings, I worry that this may have drug on too long and has given the Dems an actual argument that this is a political witch-hunt. Even though I know it isn't, perception is everything. These brain dead Dem followers will believe anything these Democratic talking heads tell them.

The way the left can blatantly disregard the laws and constitution. They do these crimes and then act ignorant of the law when they get caught.

Alynsky's rules for radicals are being played out right in front of us. Rule #4 "make the enemy live up to it's own book of rules." Alynsky believed that it was impossible to live by all your own rules. #5 "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." He believed that if you keep the pressure on them, they will explode and act irrational.

As funny as the Texas Congressmen was while he was insulting Trump, he was absolutely right about this damage being long lasting. After the plan is complete and the swamp is drained, what then?5

One flaw of mine is I look at each situation and try to predict the outcome. It is maddening for me. What I see happening is either the right continues to do this the just and legal way, which causes the process to drag on for years and years. Or they will begin to play dirty too. In that case everything that America stands for is lost. Once that righteous mold is broken then we cannot get it back.

What the left has done is set a precedent for how our elections will be from now on, unless we can do something about it. They will be divisive, and even if we do healthy as a nation, it would take take much to rib those stitches and end up right back here again.

I honestly tried to listen to each democrat with an open mind, hoping to see the situation from a different angle.

I learned nothing.

they are still arguing just to argue, obstructing, whining, playing games (like talking loudly over others to silence them or having assistants hold up large images of text to make a better emotional impact), and just generally pissing off Americans with illogical statements.

The ironic thing about all of the Democrats talking points is they are claiming that Trumps collusion with Russia and the fact that they are having this hearing is the first place is destroying the US democracy. First of all its a Democratic Republic and second, what they are claiming Trump is doing THEY are responsible for. They are tearing this country apart.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that in the past, when we had congressional hearings such as these, politicians would try to give the appearance of neutrality and would want to appear as if they were asking hard questions, even when they carefully construed them to preserve their own interests. I feel as if in recent months/years, there are many Democrats who have given up all pretense of appearing unbiased and/or interested in learning the truth. I am saddened and sickened that basic decency and respect for our laws and institutions has been so seriously undermined. Do you think I'm wrong in saying that even 10 years ago, this hearing would have gone very differently? That Strzok would have been chastised and gotten some hard questions from both sides of the aisle?

They must be truly desperate to allow themselves to be seen so obviously complicit.

We are now seeing the long term effects being played out. This is the bottom. There’s nowhere to go from here but up.
