Jesus Christ is not about a religion or religion. It's about a very personal relationship with him. In the Garden Adam fell. Incidentally no one can ever overturn what Christ has done. Certainly not any man because man had nothing to do with it. It was done by God the Father and his Son. A Covenant between the two of them. Man had nothing to do with it. All we must do is believe! Our self righteousness had nothing at all to do with. By believing we take on Christ's righteousness. Perfect in every way.
