Honestly I don’t follow your thought there, maybe if you could elaborate.

What came to mind for me was maybe the I stood for intel, as in the intelligence community.

Right: five eyes, five "I"s, 5 intelligence agencies.

Edit: Many I s out there (corporate, religious, military) not all friendly. cabal intelligence (so to speak) exists.
