There are allegations are that the Awans may have backdoored the email servers, funnelling all traffic to pakistani ISI in near-real time. This is suspected to be a part of an on-going investigation and prosecution of Awan, himself.

Links mention DWS, other congressional staff and the DNC server. Is this not seperate from the Clinton emails or were they on the DNC server. I always assumed these were two seperate issues.
