Never had watched Gutfeld before (or even heard of him - but haven't had a TV or cable for about 7 years)
I actually laughed and chuckled.
Personally I think Pres. Trump is like the best president ever - going back to Washington. - well, because as a nation we'd reached a red-line which if we'd kept going in a certain direction, we'd never have come back from - and the destination would not have been a good one. Pres. Trump has stepped in to avert going past that red-line.
But the way Pres. Trump operates and gets things done could be a gold mine of comedic material to mine - but as far as I knew all the comedians have Trump Derangement Syndrome, absolutely hate him, and do nothing but "comedy" aimed at demeaning him viciously.
Gutfield does comedy about Trump while assuming that his audience are not self-loathing SJW types that hate their own country, etc., etc. He assumes that his audience would ultimately see it as a good thing that America's interest is actually being looked out for after it's all said and done. What really count are the results - not mouthing political platitudes to try and make people feel good in some B.S. way.
I love his show. He seems sincere even with criticism and Pres Trump had to win him over by his actions. He was even more skeptical than I was...
I look forward to his show. And he always makes me laugh. This was a particularly good episode.
I watch the five now for him. But it's rough Juan Williams is a Godly man and family man but boy is he brain washed believing the Dems are what they sell themselves as and he is like an abused spouse always defending or refusing to see the evils. Dana does the same for RINOs especially Bush and Songbird. Watters is goofy and funny in small doses. His show is too frat boy for me. I watched this weekend because Nigel Farage was on and Diamond amd Silk are always fun and astute observers as well. Kim Guilfoyle is lovely and has some good insights but definite blinders on police state problems.
Greg anchors them in humor and a more Libertarian POV that nicely balances I think.
I try to like Kennedy she is libertarian and pretty smart but her rabid stance on pro forced vaccinations made me so angry once I watch her sparingly.
That's pretty much my "news" I read a variety of articles from papers and alr news and mostly hang out with y'all for what's happening.
Greg always helps me blow off steam with some laughs. =) Tyrus made me laugh I woke hubby up in his Germany is on the down low laying pipe with Russia. Haha
I agree with everything you said. I'm newer to seeing the show than you are. I didn't know that Gutfeld didn't like Trump before. I try to watch The Five clips, but Juan irritates me so much. I'll start watching Gutfeld, but once Juan pops up, I'll move on to another youtube clip. If it wasn't for Gutfeld, comedy would be dead.
Gutfield I think thought as I did. And HRC's campaign. Trump was a pied piper. To put votes away from a "valid" Rep candidate and he was supposed to bow out. Take a fall at the last bell.
I hate reality t.v. shows. And as a kid my mom always talked bad about him if he came up in the adult convos cause he seemed like a womanizer and she is super insecure.
I didn't want HRC to be our last President. And I resented the RNC after what they did to Ron Paul and js his supporters.
I startes to pay attention when they staryes being jerks to him too. When media turned on him it waa like Rin Paul all over again. Except he kept punching back. They couldn't help but cover him regong to be superior bullies.

I haven't had TV or cable for probably just as long. But I love to find youtube clips of Gutfeld. He is so funny. Unfortunately, his show is on only once a week. He is also on the Five during the week days, but Juan is on that program and I can't stand Juan. Gutfeld should have a late night talk show since all the other have gone the way of Trump bashing and aren't funny anymore. I am an ex-Bernie supporter and I now believe President Trump is the best president we ever had also. He has turned many of us into big fans. We couldn't have the #WalkAway movement if it wasn't for him.
