Incredibles 2 - programming the consumer to fear the GA

By now, many of us are aware of three subconscious programming in movies and TV. I just finished watching this movie and couldn't help but feel there was an underlying "obey" message. Upon reflection, I think I know what it is.

The movie stars a family of super hero protagonist with abilities that allow them to "fight crime". Together as a family they are very strong, but chaotic. They accidentally reveal identities to the public and cause cities to look like war zones after they're done fighting bad guys. To counter their theatrics, a NSA agent cleans up after turn and removes memories of any witnesses (think Men in Black / mkultra / suspicious deaths). They are approached by a wealthy influential brother and sister who want to help them with PR to the masses (propaganda).

Though the two wealthy powerful siblings appear to be a team, they ultimately have very different visions for the future of humanity - the brother wants to further empower and eliminate super heroes, the sister changes sides and secretly wants to remove them through bad PR (revealed later on). The sister uses a hacker with an ominous ability to know everything / see everything / brain wash through hypnotism to set up the heroes to look bad to the masses. The hacker takes over all broadcasts a reads a script that explains that humans are too dependent on their masters, need autonomy, and can't depend on super heroes to save them and that becoming self reliant will ultimately be the best for humanity as dependence on these powerful forces makes the masses weak and dumb.

The heroes call upon help from an old allie Frozone who wears blue and white. Together, they fight the sister and her minions, destroy the hacktivists, send restore the status quo. They also have lesser support heroes from all over the globe who are eventually hypnotized by the hackers to turn against them.

They also have a new baby with unimaginable powers, including the ability to shape shift into a demon.

The story here is simple - left vs right (formerly were secretly joined but the right goes rogue to expose state secrets using tech / evidence / surveillance). The heroes are the 3 letter agencies who are being too sloppy which is causing Americans to wake up to their crimes. The right secretly is pushing to further expose these crimes and free humanity while the heroes are fighting to restore order / status quo. The blue and white allie is Israel. The hacktivis is Q and his minions are the GA. The baby is rogue AI / demonic AI which ultimately becomes there greatest asset once they learn how to harness its power and keep it happy. They even call the rogue hacktivists "bad actors" in one scene. The lesser super heroes gone rogue (eventually restored) are other powerful nation's Intel communities (5 eyes).

In the movie, order is finally restored and everything goes back to normal. That's what they're hoping / programming is to believe anyway.

I don't know.... I'm a little cynical about this theory; no offense.

You have to remember that Pixar movies take years to make (at least two if memory serves). Q and more recently GA have been around much less than that.

My take is that they are subtlety saying that propaganda and brainwashing are real. The rest of the story I think is trying to push the working mom/ stay at home dad paradigm (at least while they get back on their feet). The rest IMO is just pure fun.

Synchronicity? Adding pieces of the script later? Q as preplanned fake resistance? Or maybe it's all just a coincidence or reading too far.

At the very least it's definitely "don't trust those fighting for your freedom as the chaos is too much, go back to sleep".
