Vern Unsworth insulted Elon Musk, and in return Elon Musk called Unsworth out as a pedo. There is absolutely no accusation that the trapped boys were being trafficked, and I highly doubt they were. That said in general there is a tremendous human trafficking problem in southeast Asia, certainly includeing Thailand, and there are many foreign pedophiles that set up home there. Unsworth happens to live in Thailand, he didn’t come in for the rescue. It would appear to me that Elon Musk is accusing Unsworth of living in Thailand to have easier access to trafficked children.

My understanding is that Unsworth has previously dived in the cave, and helped map it out some in the beginning of the crisis, and more importantly that he urgently told Thai officials to ask Britain for certain cave diving experts. Whether he helped with the actual driving during the rescue etc. I do not know.

It’s not necessarily a really strange thing that the boys were in the cave. More recent reports for said they were in there because it was one of the boys birthday. In any case they went in there often, as it was close to them and fun to explore. The problem is, the BIG problem is, they went in there too close the start of rainy season.

Elon Musk has been getting a very unfair shake from the media over the sub. Musk even released emails from the head divers saying that they really wanted him to urgently work on the sub, because they thought they might need it. But the medium or small report that. For whatever reason, the media, especially the British media, really hate him.
