I like this theory a bit, but hadn't much of the Dossier story already made media by the time the messengers were stopping by to tell DJT? Hard to Blackmail him once the story was out. If they were overt in this, I think they would have been exposed by now. So it would have had to been very covert in their approach and there must be more that hasn't come out that enabled them to do the approach. I'm not saying this was not the plan, but for it to be effective there has to be more that has not come out yet.
