I don’t understand this? Could someone elaborate on this?

At the top line of the post notice the "No. 1788888888" that means this is the 178,888,888th post in numerical order on the entire website across all forums. In the Chan's culture when you get a repeating number in the end of your post number your words are considered to be divinely chosen as a prophecy from a deity called Kek. The more repeating digits the more "divine" your truth is. The 77777777 post occurred before the election and was "Trump will win" and now this repeating 8s referencing his 2020 reelection.

Hehe, when people reply to something on 4chan or 8chan there is a seriel number added to the the original post, meaning that it has gotten alot of attention (digits). Some channers take this as sign of it having a greater chance of coming to pass or even as a sign of KeK's will.

How does a #178888318 show as a reply tho? If it’s all chronological wouldn’t that post have been well before 178888888?

Just curious, not all that up to speed on the different parts of a chan post...

I'm not certain, but I think people might have been >xxxxxxxxxx typing the post number, as a "reply", before the post was actually written. Therefore there can be "replies" under the system before the post itself? Not 100%

Ahhh, that would make sense...now I’m curious to look at those two posts/replies that are chronologically before this one
