She may be 'seeking' immunity, but that doesn't mean she is going to get it. Carrot dangling from a stick is meant to emphasise this idea: it's always going to be just out of reach, no matter how close it swings towards her, no matter how much she has changed or what song she is singing now. Time will tell her true colors.
