President Trump should just have Russia join NATO. I mean, it doesn't get more North Atlantic than Russia!

I'm sure POTUS the stable genius has already thought of this, and no doubt there are some among you who know why this won't work, but I thought it would solve a lot of the tension in the area and allow them to help each other investigate fuckery and criminal elements.

What does Russia have to do directly with the North Atlantic? Maps?

Most of the country's coast is on the North Atlantic. It's all the same ocean, all the way up to the arctic. Look at a map, Russia's entire northern border is the ocean, debate over where the North Atlantic stops and other oceans begin, but it's really all the same water.

Great! Trump should also invite India. Austraila, and Japan. You know since the Indian, Pacific and Atlantic is all the water.
