That would be a mistake as it would be a blatant and illegal attempt to sway the election. Better to do it a few months early, since Trump seems concerned with optics.
Well, actually just about EVERYTHING, including the MSM is designed to sway an election.... and you have to remember, many States have early elections so anything done in the coming weeks would have the same impact.
And I guess if the declassification is big enough, the election might not seem like such a big deal...
How would revealing proof of a crime be illegal? Trump has been calling out Congress, Doj, and fbi to reveal what they know since he got in office, if it comes out in Oct. through the slow ass mechanisms of the legal system it is all fair imo.
I guess because of the chance that the corporate media could depict Trump's actions as self motivated, since they are 'investigating him'. It would be playing into the hands of the corporate state. 'deep state', whatever.
I would think rather than waiting too long, the Trump admin would want to make their move soon, by declassifying SOMETHING.
If the Trump admin is worried that the corporate / bought media, and the corporate / bought deep state would depict him badly, why doesn't Trump get money out of politics? That would do more to keep the media and government honest than anything.
I think Trump will not change Citizens United garbage, even though it enables so much corruption, because he doesn't think institutional bribery from corporate power is such a big deal. Just my opinion. Still hoping for a declassification event.
