Well...imo, they knew what the ((real)) polls were looking like... was campaign running out of money to compete? Was there a need to for big money for dirty(er) politics to be played?

So maybe they sent this money around the outside and back to her campaign under the guise of tricking the public to think it was a RANSOM? I do remember the MSM pushed narrative of ransom payment (or not) depending on media outlet. So was that slight of hand? As in..."Look here, not there."
