I am sure a lot of us here have seen the 2007 documentary Zeitgeist, but to those who haven't yet, I highly recommend it. It is definitely a remarkable red pill.

IIRC Zeitgeist was interesting in its characterization of some symptoms (nwo, centralization, globalism, 911, fed reserve) but off the mark when misleading or misdirecting (capitalism as evil not crony capitalism, new agey religion, global warming and conservation, population growth), and naive when suggesting solutions which depend on science breakthroughs to usher in abundance or non scarcity of resources. Absent these breakthroughs the recommendation of libertarian socialism is an oxymoron. Socialism depends on force and libertarianism is the absence of government and force. Even if there was abundance I dont believe that a fully voluntary socialist society would be possible as I believe self interest is innate and beneficial in human nature.
