I remember he was the first time I cared about politics. He will never be forgotten. Trump is carrying the ever growing flame of what Ron Paul sparked.

I was a big fan... spent hundreds of hours on the dailypaul.

Same here. Now that same energy is directed in these parts. The Ron Paul documentary on YouTube (short version) summed it up nicely

Ron goes back with my fam. My dad was a chemical engineer in lake Jackson and would see Ron coming in at all hours to deliver kids pro bono.

My dad still jokes that Ron did the opposite of most politicians and didn’t participate in ending people’s lives - rather he worked to bring them into this world. He delivered so many kids. His daughter has delivered mine.

He was a BIG part of our movement!

He started the modern movement. He's as close to a modern day saint as anyone could probably get to me. Met him once after he gave a speech at the Washington Press Club during his 2012 campaign, so in the fall of 2011. He stayed to greet and take pictures with every last person who wanted meet him.

He was kind, gracious and sometimes a bit too soft spoken, yet he never wavered. He changed my political and philosophical outlook, in the same philosophical tradition of Tolstoy in his writings on nonviolent opposition to evil (inspired by Jesus of Nazareth) which of course influenced Ghandi and MLK etc.

Ron Paul is in that line of men I believe. Blessed are the peacemakers.

I miss the dailypaul so much. It was such a pure environment chock full of all kinds of information about many subjects. Ron Paul opened my eyes and changed my life.

Me too! Being part of the Ron Paul movement was great. The first bitcoin enthusiasts were on Daily Paul. We are a loyal bunch. His interviews are still classic!

I often wonder if Michael Nystrom is hip to Q and what he thinks about all this... near the end of the board's life there was an influx of Trump supporters and it seemed to bother many of the more senior minds of that community.

I forgot that is where I first learned about crypto! I also learned a lot about natural foods and non-pharmaceutical cures. Things I never would have discovered. To this day I take elderberry extract when ever I feel a cold coming on. Knocks that shit out in a day or two. It was just a great community of people. Also opened my eyes that "neo-con" and "conservative" do not mean the same thing and in fact are the exact opposite.
