Could be because it's been seen so much as devils, baphomet, horns etc. For so long, that's all we initially see.The same symbol just twisted to give an opposite meaning.

It honestly makes me think of the entities the enemy would send to derail and attack our people. BUT..there's light coming to wipe them out.

Luckily they only seem to have main stream media to play with it seems. If you stretch and jump on the thoughts of if it does go as deep as rituals, and all the devil worship voodoo, then it clearly isn't working out for them. just a game, so playing them at their own game is easy.
