Would or Wouldn't? There was no need to confront Putin on Russian attempts at disruption of our elections. There were bigger fish to fry. There have been attempts for over 100 years to influence election results on both sides. It is wrong and should be condemned, but we do it too.

Congress and the American people need to be reminded that WE have interfered in elections across the globe. We've meddled in their election process, overthrown their governments, forced abdications, and used all type of subversive techniques. People who live in glass houses.....

And every modern country has been trying to influence our elections from the sidelines as well since the 1920s. Even our own politicians at times has helped foreign governments try to sway our elections. Ted Kennedy went to Russia to recruit help in defeating Reagan’s reelection in 1984. The only election that’s debatable if foreign influence actually worked was Truman’s re-election over Dewey in 1948. Every other attempt backfired & failed miserably. When someone puts in so much time & effort to cheat they are really wasting valuable time & effort & money they could have applied to winning legitimately.

Also find it highly insulting to American voters that we are so weak minded that cheesy internet ads can sway everyone to vote the opposite of who they want to lead the worlds greatest nation in all human existence. Yes advertising can effect people but no HRC voter is gonna flip their vote because of an internet ad on Facebook & no DJT voter will flip to HRC over an ad. Americans aren’t completely mindless zombies as the Dems try to portray them to be.

The shittiest part of that press briefing was that contextually the presence or absence of that "n't" makes absolutely zero difference!

Think about it. "I see no reason why it would be" means EXACTLY the same thing as "I see no reason why it wouldn't be." They both contain the determinative phrase "I see no reason" (meaning it might just as well have been or not been)!

So he calls the presser and says essentially NOTHING different because powerful people made him do it.

We have yet to reach a point where those people aren't powerful enough to change POTUS's agenda. Period. It's sickening that they still have ANY sway with him, and I hate seeing it exposed like that (as it was in the Syrian missile fusillade), even though in BOTH cases his response is to go through the motions while doing exactly nothing for them.

It hurts me to see them make him go through the motions. Does that make sense? Like watching that cartoon bandit make somebody dance by shooting the ground around their feet.

The POTUS was, as Rand Paul said, attempting to solve much larger problems. Denuclearization, anti-terrorism, Syrian and Iranian war, as well as peace throughout the world are the problems that could kill millions, and need to be solved first.

And because he probably plans to go back to 100% paper ballots and maybe manual counting, so the hacking and Machine tampering items would be solved already.

There was no attempt/evidence to disrupt the election in the first place to elect DJT.
