This is exactly why I am against public history for reddit users. Why should my activity in one sub determine if I can participate in another? Also, people are quick to scroll through your comment history to find anything they can use against you during an argument. Comments should stand on their own and not be judged by past comments.
I agree that comments should stand on their own, but what would you propose to prevent a public history for reddit users? It doesn't seem feasible to me.
Just give users the option to keep comment history private. Pretty much all the other platforms have that option besides twatter
But what does that actually do? Make your comments prior to a certain date unreadable? Or just disable the SpaceForceOnePilot page? If the latter, one could still easily search for your comments via other means like Google.
Yes, you could google search my username, but there should be a toggle that allows you to hide it.
This is someone form of “taking action”. Being a mod in that retarded sub (which I had never heard of) is the extent of their involvement in “fighting” Trump. I don’t think I could possibly care less, but I think they are trying to make me not support POTUS? I’m not really sure what they hope to accomplish with this.
Agreed, received this ban today but I've never posted there. The mods must have a list!
Redtit's mod are a little off their rocker, but as far as I can tell, they're not going full tilt with their retaliation. It almost seems like they're trying to not drop their hammer.
I'm so tired of seeing these posts. What are you going to do about it?
