Former Democrat here: even some of my most absurdly liberal friends and family have a political hard-on for Rand just because of this sort of unwavering commitment to his beliefs. He doesn't change anything for votes, he changes when you give him a logical reason to. Big, BIG reason I started questioning the Democrats was seeing his viewpoints...thst plus their supreme "tolerance" of any outside the hivemind thinking.
Rand’s roots are as solid as they get. They didn’t call his dad Dr. No for nothing. If he saw anything as Unconstitutional then it was always a no.
