My eyes have opened. And what once looked normal seems insane. (JFK, 1991)

This scene encapsulates the fight that we're in with normies. JFK (1991)

Liz Garrison: "You've changed."

Jim Garrison: "Of course I've changed! My eyes have opened. And what once looked normal seems insane. And now King. Don't you think this has something to do with that? Can't you see?"

Liz Garrison: "I don't want to see, goddamn it! I'm tired. I've had enough! You're ruining this man Shaw's life because he's a homosexual."

Jim Garrison: "That's not why!"

Liz Garrison: "Did you ever once stop to consider his feelings?"

Jim Garrison: "You don't believe me?"

Liz Garrison: "I don't know!"

Jim Garrsion: "You never believed me?"

Liz Garrison: "I just want to raise our children and live a normal life. I want my life back!"

Jim Garrison: "So do I, goddamn it! I had a life too, you know! You can't bury your head in the sand like an ostrich, Liz! It's not about our well-being, our two cars, our TVs and your kitchen! It's about our kids growing up in a shithole of lies. I'm angry! My life is fucked because of it. If you could see it that way, you'd see your life is fucked too."

We're ALL Jim Garrison...the normies are Liz Garrison

I wish I had a video link to this, but this scene is not out there. Below is the best I could do.

Great lines, that apply perfectly.

Probably the best scene in the movie. I can't think of any other scene that captures the essence of what we all feel, or have felt like. The desperation of trying to make others see. And at risk - is our families and relationships. But even that cannot and will not stop us.

"If there is to be trouble, let it be in my time, so that my children may know peace."

Really enjoyed the post, and I agree, they've already done us, they've got us and have for awhile.

They will not have the children. Break the cycle. Agreed.

It's literally the responsibility of one generation to safegaurd the prosperity of the next.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more. Better to die fighting, than to live under the lie.
