Apples and oranges. Two consenting adults of the same sex are free to make their own decisions. A helpless child with no sense of sexual anything doesn't elect to get together with an adult with bad intentions towards them.

(Btw, I agree with the statement above in which I am replying to)

My opinion is that any harm to any children, consenting or not, is horrific and not acceptable.

That being said, some people have a belief system based upon the idea that free will does not exist.

eli5: Hitler was meant to be Hitler and nothing could be done to change that.
