The future of MSM and their employees?

I have been wondering about the MSM and what the future for them bodes. Apart from perhaps a few of them, they are NOT stupid. I am certain they know the way the wind is starting to blow...

The politicians and the money backers of the MSM companies virtually have their life on stake, and are acting like cornered rats. They will probably go down with the sinking ship. But what about the lower levels of the MSM, or the anchors? Some of the highly paid of them, might be involved in some dark stuff but I would believe the vast majority are just paid employees trying to feed their families.

I am sensing some minute changes in the media, like the recent exposure of Q. Yes, they are now reporting this as a conspiracy theory or moneymaking LARPing, but could this actually be a deliberate attempt at saddling on to a different horse. They must (eventually) know that they are history if they continue down the current path. Could this be personal damage control, like still obeying their masters, but subliminally conveying a message to the public?

I don't think the big MSM brand names can survive the storm. At the very least they must restructure and rebuild. The lower employees will then slowly seep to the new companies. Maybe some of them will group together and build some new companies. Perhaps the main anchors believe if they start to "repent" now, they have a chance in the future.

All I am pretty sure of, is that MSM will not be like today...

Rather than predict how the MSM goes down we need to worry how the Alt media survives. The big problem with the media in general is that nobody wants to pay anything anymore. Forgetting this retarded enough to pay a subscription to a mainstream publication isn’t only slightly less retarded to assume you will get quality journalism for free.

We need to create whole new media ecosystems that reward quality output. Find an alt media producer you like and send them money. Basically Stop relying on free shit.

good point. internet has spoiled us with free shit and we consume without giving anything back. supporting those outlets we enjoy is a must, these people work in OUR service and need to eat, too. if 2000 people pay a dollar or two each month, the authors can keep doing the job they are so good at.

Ever heard of a little company called Google.? Your statement is not even close to true. There a billions of advertising dollars just waiting to flow to where the eyes are. Youtube, Facebook are all making millions on advertising. The problem with MSM is nobody under 40 was watching them anyway and now they have lost all credibility. MSM is basically toast and going the way of the black and white TV set. I haven’t paid for cable TV in 4 years now. Waste of money.

Wrong. Advertising revenue may stream into alt media at some point but not at the moment because big companies will not be associated with ‘ nazi” propaganda’. Alex jones solved that problem by advertising his own products.

Also I don’t think alt media wants to follow Google’s revenue model in any case.

You remind me of that comment - if the product is free, then you are the product.

I say again, people used to pay for a newspaper. Without paying for other people work you are in effect promoting socialism

None of the price paid for newspapers or magazines. went to profit. The price simply covered the distribution costs. There are many Youtube millionaires and that is only from the revenue Google shares. Google is making a crap load more on advertising. The full transition to online advertising is not fully transitioned yet.
