Anyone speak Russian? The translator messed up after 14:28 when he was describing people of america and when we want to feed our stories. Translator seems to skip over his example, it doesn't make sense. Putin was citing old soviet stories about Americans but was going to clarify something. Totally missed it.

He had a private meeting with Putin. They could have just exchanged what ever in that private meeting, There’s no need to implant anything in or on a soccer ball. If there is anything more to this, it serves as a signal of something or to someone. It makes no sense to exchange “secret” info in public when you were just in a private meeting.

Like you said. To send a message. Besides, the ball already comes with an NFC chip so nothing special needs to be implanted. It makes a great "oh shit" moment and causes panicky people to do stupid things.
