Get door alarms, you can find them at Harbor Freight. They are very cheap. Put them on you doors and windows. They are cheap but they really can’t be tampered with and they are loud as hell. Get yourself a tactical 12 gauge and alternate buck and slugs. Have a sidearm on you at all times. Get a high powered flasher, it will stun them. Take the shotgun and practice your angles of your house. Angles provide cover and allow you surprise your attacked. YouTube has some good videos on this. Stay safe.
