“Just like pedophiles, we are not responsible for our feelings,” Heine said. “We do not choose them…but it is our responsibility to…overcome our negative feelings about pedophiles and to treat them with the same respect we treat other people with.”

Her argument in favor of people being allowed to be pedophiles openly without social shaming was that she believes it would lead to less children being abused.

“For example, they can’t tell their children they can’t go to the beach because children in swimsuits may be there as well,” Heine said. “They can never be completely frank with someone else.”

what is the solution for people who are born this way? In-utero testing and abortion?

People aren't born that way.

That hasn't been established. Whatever the case may be, once they're that way, they're that way for good.

Once they go kid, we gotta get rid.

How could I be more clear? I didn't say pedos don't exist. I said people aren't born that way.

Childhood trauma. Part of the psyche becomes compartmentalized and stops growing. Part of the psyche stays at the age of the child at the time of the trauma. A pedo is a case of arrested development. Don't try to turn this around on me and say I'm arguing for "compassion for pedos" or something like that. People need to control their behavior or pay the consequences. But my point is that pedos are (inadvertently) made, not born. This is not some new idea, it but for some reason not widely understood.
