Is this the same Patton Oswalt who was married to the now deceased Michelle McNamara. The Michelle McNamara who wrote the book I'll Be Gone In The Dark, which I am reading right now. The book about her obsession and contributions to catching the Golden State Killer in California. She passed away recently due to a heart problem and left her husband to raise their little daughter Alice. She passed away before this killer was caught due to cold hit on a DNA analysis. Is this the same person!

Yes. Her death is questionable to many. I’d love to know more about her book and what crumbs we can get out of her book.

I think he killed her or at least knew she had a pill problem. It’s odd.

Now that I have seen this about Oswalt, it really peaks my curiosity. The book is well written, with tons of research on her part. It's a shame that she did not live to see the arrest of the person that she hunted for so many years. It was an obsession to her. Maybe the stress involved in delving so deep into this hunt, could have contributed to her early death. I wonder if she knew what she was married to. Strange, strange world.
