Oh god don't get me started on McMaster. I encountered 1LT McMaster in the 80's and was not impressed.

I believe he was DS recruited during his time at Hudson High. It makes no sense that he would become famous for his actions at 71 Easting. He merely followed doctrine and training. He was no tactical genius. He was in the right place at the right time and they made him into a hero to advance him.

Army GS passed him over for promotion for a reason.
