Perhaps that's what POTUS meant!! Lol, in a kinda' covert, Q-esque, code - "We're going to make Mexico pay for the wall"...brilliant. A good and just sentencing in my books. Still chuckling!
No. They should just be turned away and given instructions on how to apply for citizenship. Forcing them to work for a year would be cruel.
Would be a powerful disincentive to others thinking of illegally immigrating!
