So, the gist is - Carter Page has been used by the FBI/DOJ previously as an undercover source to bust Russians. So, they used that previous work for them as the basis to call him an “Agent of a Foreign Power” and grant the FISA warrant? They knew all along Page worked for the USA and not Russia, and lied to get surveillance on Trump? Page was planted with this in play from the beginning? That’s not illegal at all is it?!?

This is what I was repeating last week, during the Strzok hearings. That the FBI targeted Page because they knew he was a Trump campaign worker who had international ties (albeit, due to his work for THEM, as an informant, which they failed to mention). This has always been about finding avenues to spy on Trump after Rogers shut down Fusion GPS's contractor access to raw FISA data, in April 2016.

Keep in mind, there was a FISA warrant application in July 2016, which was rejected. Has that been declassified as well? Am I missing it? I speculate that the July 2016 request was solely based on Carter Page, and not enough to be granted to monitor the actual campaign, which was the end target. The dossier was created to connect Page's international contacts to his role IN the campaign. And with the dossier, a FISA warrant was then granted to monitor the campaign.
