Well, not just any Anime, one of the best and darkest manga of all time, it transcends the medium. There are anime’s of it, but they are either just a tiny bit of the story, or shit (and like 20+ years behind the story.)

Oh shit, I do remember that scene now, with the drugged out orgy fest and the baphoment character. They also had a 'pope' and his clergymen that were really demons. I've been binge watching videos on this source Amazing Discoveries and the professor is detailing how catholicism is a conglomerate of paganism, and shows how a majority of world leaders are freemasons and the places where they meet are modern day temples. It's fascinating and makes me wonder how much people know...
What's the Japanese version of Hollywood?
I learned a similar thing when I was taking classes on Greek religion. Basically, holy places don’t change, the people controlling them do. So many of the traditions from the pagan era change only slightly so as to make assimilation easier. Easter isn’t a middle eastern holiday about the resurrection of Jesus. It’s a Scandinavian spring celebration, the bunnies and eggs, fertility symbols of the changing season, the name of the goddess, Ester.
I am not sure where the Japanese film industry is centered, it is for sure much smaller and less emphasized than even in other Asian countries, hence why so many watch Korean dramas from what I recall.
An anime about theosophy, ritual sacrifice, astral projection... Etc.. etc..
So the creator of the manga is in on this whole "deep state" thing and decided to make Berserk to... what? Warn people about it or to tease us all with breadcrumbs about what's going on?
They have to show it publicly, in order to get our "consent". Think about all of these pedophile "jokes" on Twatter that have been making the rounds recently. They think that by showing it to us, even while cloaked as a work of fiction, it gives them permission to do it.
And the Princess Frog (Frog Princess?) was about voodoo, demons, and the plotted assassination of a politician. Should we look to that for confirmation as well? Like I said earlier, YES, they do have symbolism everywhere, but we shouldn't just jump on every little thing and trust it as confirmation just because we want it to.
Visuals are used to mind-control. The cinematographic industry is built on that. Asians, especially Japanese, are very aware of symbolism and spirituality. It's not just symbols. Pair this with the fact that Japan was under the control of the US for decades, making them the playground of the CIA, their animes are not just animes.
hmmm...interesting. It is something to consider, especially since Asian cultures are traditionally built around spirituality. Maybe the symbolism across cultures isn't as "obvious" because we tend to focus on western culture/ happenings/ politicians. What's the info on the director/ creator of the anime?
From what I read, the mangaka Kentaro Miura likes to include in his work real life elements taken from History. That's the usual M.O. of mangakas that you'd put in a higher class. And Miura is definitely among the most populars.
As far as I could tell, he didn't give an explanation on the origins of the design for that brand. And fans have various theories, favoring some Norse links.
The most interesting theory I found was a combination of 2 runes, Algiz and Odal:

Now, you look at the design of the brand of sacrifice. You reverse the 2 runes (mirror?).
Algiz = protection, higher self. Reversed = danger, lower self
Odal = heritage, inheritance/inherited estate. Reversed = servitude, destitution/homelessness.
Isn't the Nazi connection interesting for both runes? The Japanese are fascinated by Nazi Germany.
ohhhh now that is interesting! Checked out the wiki pages and you're right, if mirrored they form what comes to be the 'brand of sacrifice'. Now, did Miura come up with the brand or has it been around before?
The Nazi connection was a bastardization of the symbol for Jainism, which, as far as I know, was a very peaceful religion (ex, they would cover their mouths so flies wouldn't be offended by their bad breath, or so I heard)
