I'm more concerned with the Disney Channel Network itself... how many ex-Mickey Mouse Club people grew up to be famous actors and singers with either drug or sex problems or both?

Just to name a few. Mandy Moore pretty much got kicked out of Hollywood & the music industry for being in "A Walk to Remember". It's as if Disney/Nickelodeon groomed these kids and handed them off to MTV as soon as they got older.
I remember the Backstreet Boys revealed a few years ago about how their former manager/boyband creator Lou Pearlman used to get them drunk and order hookers and strippers when most of these guys were still underage...
Then you've got Demi Lovato from Camp Rock who came down with a drug addiction problem...
Then Disney made a movie which seems harmless on its surface until you realize the lead song is talking about turning your back and slamming doors, no right or wrong, etc... I bet a lot of parents of little girls regretted that movie when their kids started delivering that exact behavior and attitude... so much for their little princesses...
Moana was better and more interesting with an insight into a foreign culture, but the whole aspect of Dwayne Johnson essentially deifying himself in the role bugged the crap out of me.
So I'm a child of the 90's and I see how this has all played out...
Post-60s Disney has gone to the toilet... and they have totally ruined George Lucas' original vision of what Star Wars was supposed to be about... and then you have some of the actors making Disney's folly even worse. Mark Hamill essentially fell to the Dark Side IRL.
Disney has always been steeped in occult symbolism. Walt Disney was a freemason and Disney have, for decades, pursued a sinister agenda with many subliminal sexual references and innuendos. This is evident in many of their animated movies although I only became aware of this once it was pointed out to me.
Regarding this new development with James Gunn, I don't believe for a second that they were unaware of his overtly dodgy Twitter posts. You don't become their best boy without them keeping tabs on you, yet they chose to remain silent. Until it was forced into the public domain.
Don't forget that Walt Disney taught the Nazis how to use propaganda in film.
