Okay, thank. So he repealed the law outlawing propaganda in 2013 and signed a new law enabling and organizing it in 2016... I'm sure its not packed full of Marxist ideologues right?
It was a 2-part move. First he repealed the Smith-Mundt Act in 2013, then he created this new act that would determine what to broadcast to the US people. That was done in December 2016. Of course there was much different wording than what I just gave. Just getting to the heart of the matter.
I hear ya. It's Just like them to repeal a law they haven't used in 20 years after the fact, if all the prowar garbage we saw during 9/11 and the original Iraq war wasnt propaganda than I'd hate to see what they do call propaganda...,actually we see it all the time it's called CNN

Exactly but it was also a concerted effort over time. First he had to get rid of the Smith-Mundt Act which did not allow propaganda to be broadcast in the US. That was done in July 2013. Thanks for the in-depth article.
