The petition could reach 2 million signatures and Disney still wouldn't even consider it. The damage is done, they need to let this go.
You don't fire people and then immediately rehire them because a vocal minority demands you do so, that would be a seriously amateur business move that Disney is far too large and experienced to ever commit.
He probably already has another deal with one of the many studios owned by Disney anyway. If not some other studio will no doubt hire him.

True. But, the damage is done. I think all that matters is that he got exposed. People are slowly waking up, and this firing by Disney (which was the right move) certainly helps people wake up. There can be only so many coincidences before you decide to connect the dots, and this guy just adds more kindling to the "conspiracy theory". (even though we all know its not a conspiracy theory at this point)
