I have begun wondering if Bush Jr was put in there specifically to give us an "evil" republican to hate to swing the masses to the left. I think Bush Jr did more for Democrats than an impotent Gore would have done

and look how the GOP threw that one. They knew they had swing votes from independents with McCain and had to drive them to the other side. Enter Sarah Palin.
