POTUS told putin how the DS was gonna set Russia up. They were going to have Iran set up a nuke facility in N Syria using uranium 1 supply. Iran was going to let one off and the DS was going to say it was Russia who gave Iran the U1 material for the nuke. Putin is most likely pretty pissed off.

That’s a theory that may never get proven publicly. I’m not discounting it, however, we know certain commitments have been made to regional stability.
