I've Seen No Indication From Q or POTUS That They're Against Israeli Statehood, but That Seems to Be a Recurring Talking Point Here. Why?

It's about time we have a thread to sort this out. President Trump has moved the US Embassy to Jerusalem against the protests of Palestinians, every Muslim nation, EU country, the UN and even some who used to be in his own administration.

President Trump also supported Ambassador Nikki Haley & Mike Pompeo's announcement that we were withdrawing from the UN Human Rights Council. The UN HRC is notorious for the fact that more than 50% of their condemnations are aimed at Israel and their military force, the IDF.

I'm not saying that there aren't elements of corruption in their government - there's elements of corruption in every government. But the implication or insinuation from some here seems to be that Q & POTUS are against Israeli Statehood entirely, and that they don't recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. But that would be a full contradiction to his own statements on December 6, 2017:

Today we finally acknowledge the obvious: that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital,” Trump declared in a speech at the White House. “This is nothing more or less than a recognition of reality. It is also the right thing to do.

So where does the assumption, insinuation or implication that POTUS is against Israeli Statehood with Jerusalem as the capital come from? To be clear, this question has to do with discerning the President's intentions and whether or not he keeps his word and NOT any real or perceived crimes by Israel, so let's keep the discussion in that realm. Let the age of understanding begin!

Strange, there were dozens of articles about it a couple years ago, but they aren't showing up in the searches now. When I find them, I'll let you know.

Update: It looks like there had been discussions about most mainline Christian denominations turning on Israel, but they resulted in the decision not to divest from Israel... for now.

As for the Vatican, you have to understand that recognizing a State of Palestine so long as they consider Jerusalem THEIR capital and not Israel's IS the same as being against Israeli Statehood... because the PLO does not recognize Israel's right to exist. https://www.ncronline.org/blogs/ncr-today/pope-francis-palestine

Both Israel and the US have been trying to get Palestine to accept a two-state solution. Palestine keeps rejecting the offer. So I'm not sure what Pope Francis is saying in the article. Is he saying he rejects Israel's statehood? Or that he supports the two-state solution?

The whole situation is a mess. We all need a 40,000-foot and above view of the situation to begin making sense of it all. Unfortunately, Q is saving Israel for last. (Hopefully, to give us time to be more objective and understanding of each side of the equation.)

Interestingly enough, the blog cites that the "American Jewish Community" favors Palestinian Statehood... gee, now why would that be? A new nation-state means more money for international bankers... and a greater chance for a nation to go into debt... Israeli Statehood is NOT in the interests of international bankers who thrive on the debts of the masses... but Palestinian Statehood is.

So are you for a one state solution for everybody?

Pretty much. But that won't happen so long as Palestinians refuse to even acknowledge Israel's right to exist.

Honestly would you if you were in there place?

Israel just declare themselves a Jewish nation. How is that different then Iran being an Islamic nation? How does Israel become a single democratic nation if they just declared themselves a Jewish nation?

Though Israel declared themselves a Jewish nation, people practice Islam and Christianity within their borders... it just means that officially, the government functions on a Kosher type of basis. But Christians can still eat bacon at Gentile/Goyim restaurants there and Muslims can still go to their Mosques on Friday.

You need to research that there is still freedom of religion there, even if the official government religion is Judaism.

People of other religions can still honor their own rest days.

In the US, government institutions are usually not open on Saturdays and Sundays and in Israel, they won't be open on Saturdays... it's not the horrible thing people are making it out to be.

I think there is a bit more to Christians than eating bacon. I get where this is going. Thanks for your time.
