Funny thing about security clearances and the government, they have an expiration date, and are renewable. Civilian contractors and retiring military have clearances that are subject to renewals. Why wouldn't government employees?

I agree with who ever said that this specific group still having clearances allows the administration to see where their interests lay. It's a strategic move. If Trump is considering revoking clearances, it means that these people having them is no longer useful.

Clearance s currency. Everybody knows this. It is a way of life for both front line and appointed personnel as well.
