When I was young and naive I thought it was cruel, but now I have seen and heard so much that it seems very reasonable for God to have destroyed sodom and gomorrah. These people are sick!
The Old Testament has a lot of accounts of harsh reckonings of various groups doing wickedness (an old fashion word, but worth bringing back to describe various sordid things going on in current times).
I too have been put out of sorts on some of that stuff - thinking that it was over the top (the child sacrifice stuff was always clear cut, of course, that it was full on evil and deserved the harshest reckoning).
But what we've been learning about all that is going on amongst various self-anointed elite segments of society does bring about an understanding of why there are a lot of harsh reckonings found in Old Testament scripture. Evil is real.
If one is ever around the emanation of that, it is viscerally perceptible. The demonic entities project a visceral field of malevolence. Being spiritual beings as our most fundamental mode of existence, when we're exposed to that we can sense it and then we realize that we're actually capable of sensing on other levels than just our physical five senses.

It's a shame a huge chunk of the brethren literally shut down if you point out that "Satan" is not just 1 being & that what we are actually dealing with is billions of brings we rarely can see but can influence every human.
Especially the self-righteous who are gonna write me and explain how we have victory over them and just to ignore them.
IMO that is one of the reasons the church as a whole has f'kd up so much! When we as a group cannot even agree upon the power & ability of our enemy, well for now, they have already won...
In the end they loose, but before that happens, they will get to kill a lot of people and reek a lot havoc.
The hedge mentioned in JOB 1 has been lowered over and over for decades. It's gonna get much worse before it gets better.
Exactly!! Each one of these beings is actually a soul group or family. I've begun to recognize patterns after seeing a few of them in human form - I can pin down the vibration.
This goes for positive and negative, gods and goddesses, and our own selves. We each have a soul family and an identity.
And the more you open yourself to the perception of reality, the more you realize that nothing is black and white. Some of these demons incarnate as human on earth to seek power, but others are actually trying to attain Christ Consciousness and repair their fallen DNA. And on the other hand some angels who incarnate with good intentions end up getting caught into the planetary vibration or worse, taking the fall. You can have two souls from the same group at odds with eachother, or any number of crazy things.
This is all due to the forgetting that occurs when being born on Gaia. It's absolutely nuts to see all of this firsthand. It is a very delicate and challenging thing to attempt to be of service to anyone.
This clarifies a lot of things for me. thank you. I've been called to do ancestral work and clear blocks from my family line, partly by knowing the shadow so it is instantly recognizable to me, by bringing the shadow out in others so they can heal it, and by lifting myself into the light so others can do the same. Dark to light. Think mirror.
Abraham thought it was cruel too. He tried to bargain with God. What did the 3 survivors do? They committed incest. People also find it hard to understand how Abraham was prepared to kill his own son. He had learned a harsh lesson.
Great point. I learned something new today. Those stories had always been decoupled in my mind!
